Governor’s Beach

This stunning beach can be found next to the village of Pentakomo. Famed for its natural white rock formations, small coves, and crystal-clear waters, the beach is popular all year round. Take out a kayak or stand up paddleboard and explore the coastline or visit the fish tavern for delicious food overlooking the ocean.
Panagies Beach

This Blue Flag beach is located east of Limassol in the district of Pyrgos, right next to the yacht marina. You’ll find fantastic watersports facilities, sunbeds and umbrellas for hire, changing facilities, and a small restaurant serving delicious vegan food.
Aphrodite Beach

Nestled on the east coast of Limassol, in front of the ancient kingdom and ruins of Amathous, you’ll find this popular, family-friendly beach. It’s located in front of the Four Seasons and Aphrodite Beach Hotels - both of which have created grassy, palm-fringed areas overlooking the sandy shoreline.
Lady’s Mile Beach

Lady’s Mile is the Zakaki (Akrotiri) area of Limassol and, at 8km long, is the longest beach in Cyprus. Although it features fish taverns, changing facilities, sunbeds and umbrellas, and windsurfing facilities, it tends to be pretty quiet. Plus, the soft sands and clear waters make it perfect for swimmers.
Kourion Beach

Hidden away in Episkopi Bay is the popular kite-surfing beach, Kourion. Awarded Blue Flag status, Kourion has great changing and shower facilities, three restaurants, and plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds for hire. This picturesque spot is overlooked by the ancient Greco-Roman archeological ruins of Kourion and is mostly fine sand and small pebbles.
Zapallo Bay

A definite hidden gem, Zapallo Bay is located right below the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates. This sheltered sandy bay is surrounded by white cliffs and is the perfect place to relax. The beach is around a 20-minute walk from the parking area on the old Limassol-Paphos road. To find it, simply follow the sign to the Apollo Hylates Sanctuary and, after 250m, turn left and drive towards the coast.
Paramali Turtle Beach

Paramali is a wide, sandy beach with clear, deep waters. It can be reached by heading towards Paphos from Limassol on the freeway, and taking the first exit after the tunnel for Paramali. The strong coastal winds make it popular with surfers, however, it’s environmentally protected as turtles hatch here. There are hardly any facilities, so be sure to bring your own food and drink and take all rubbish away with you.
Pissouri Beach

Cradled by white cliffs on the southwest side of Limassol, Pissouri Beach is a peaceful hideaway that is famed for amazing sunsets. As a designated Blue Flag beach, you’ll find great dining facilities, sunbeds and umbrellas for hire, and an on-duty lifeguard during the summer months.
