Guest Island Limited (henceforth: Guest Island) offers a variety of bookable tours, experiences, tickets, adventures, and similar products (henceforth referred to as ‘Products’) through the website http://guest.series8.co/
(Henceforth referred to as the Booking Platform, Website, or Site) All of the Products offered via Guest Island are sold on behalf of Suppliers, under the suppliers’ responsibility. Guest Island is not a party to the contract between you, as a customer, and the supplier of the Product and therefore has no responsibility or liability to you in respect of the terms of that contract whether directly or indirectly.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Your use of this Website is subject to your irrevocable acceptance without modification of these Terms and Conditions, Business Terms of use and our Data Policy. You agree to use this Website in accordance with all of the aforementioned terms and subject to all of the aforementioned terms.

Guest Island reserves the right, at any point in time, to change the content, structure, functionalities of the Booking Platform, including suspending, in full or partially, the Website, or blocking access to visitors of the Website in partial or in full, without any reason, at any point in time, and with immediate effect. Guest Island is the owner and proprietor of all information published on Guestisland.com, including, photographic information, customer reviews, product, and supplier information. All such information may not be used or distributed by any parties, before such parties have received Guest Island's written consent thereto.

Whenever having visited the Booking Platform you are always legally bound by the Terms of Use.

General Terms of Business of Guest Island and Suppliers of Products

For booking services via the Website, you agree that the Business Terms of use and the terms of business of suppliers of tours and bookers as well as the additional conditions of suppliers shall apply.

You should note that Guest Island does not warrant that the information published on this Website will be error free and in using this Website you acknowledge that the Product details and all other information, including, but not limited to, supplier information, tour prices, customer information, and other information published on the Website etc., may be incorrect, include errors, inaccuracies, mistranslations, or typographical errors.

All information published on Guest Island including, but not limited to, customer reviews, company reviews, supplier information, product information, photographic information, blog articles and other types of information published on Guest Island, is the sole ownership and propriety of Guest Island. All such information may not be used or distributed by any other parties, before such parties have received Guest Island's prior written consent hereto.

All bookings are made with the supplier offering the Product in question, not with Guest Island. Guest Island only facilitates the making of the reservations with the suppliers of Products and sometimes the payment as well. Guest Island is not a party to the contract between you as a customer and the supplier of the Product and therefore has no responsibility or liability to you in respect of the terms of that contract whether directly or indirectly.

The Supplier reserves the right, without prior notification, to change excursion routes, if these changes occurred for reasons beyond the control of the Supplier.

Advisory Insurance requirements

YOU ARE ADVISED TO TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE WITH A MINIMUM MEDICAL, EVACUATION AND REPATRIATION COVERAGE OF EURO€200,000 covering all applicable dates of travel with Suppliers. This insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. You are strongly recommended to extend your coverage to include cancellation, curtailment eg, lockdown regulations due to virus disruptions and any other expenses that may arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience while traveling. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient coverage and comply with the terms of the applicable insurance plans. You are responsible for advising your insurer of the type of travel, destination(s) and activities included in your booking so that the insurer may provide appropriate coverage.

As a condition to the use of this Booking Platform, you hereby confirm and undertake to Guest Island that:

1. You are not a national of Cuba (a “Restricted National”) and acknowledge that use of this Website by or on behalf of a Restricted National is prohibited; and
2. You hereby confirm and undertake to Guest Island that if you are a national of Iran, Syria, Sudan, Myanmar (Burma), or North Korea (“Other Restricted Territory”) that your credit card is not issued through an “Other Restricted Territory” nor is your booking made while you are present in an “Other Restricted Territory”; and
3. You confirm and undertake to Guest Island that you will not use this Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use.
4. You confirm and undertake that you are of sufficient legal age to use this Website and to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of this Website. You furthermore understand that you are financially responsible for all uses of this Website by you and those using your log-in information.

Payments

Prices do not include:

• Meals unless otherwise specified.
• Entrance tickets to museums, archaeological parks and attractions are paid separately unless otherwise specified.
• In case of cancellation of an excursion less than 24 hours before the beginning of the tour, the money will not be refunded.
• The grounds for cancellation which are not subject to a refund: cancellation of the excursion less than 24 hours in advance; being late for an excursion; provision of incorrect personal and contact information when booking.
• If you are unable to attend a previously booked tour, due to illness or other serious reasons, you must contact us

Upon requesting to make a booking of a Product with a supplier, your credit card will be charged. However, if the supplier does not accept the booking within 48 hours the charged amount will be credited back to your account.

When making a booking, Guest Island charges the full payment upfront for some Products and for other Products Guest Island merely charges a deposit after which the remaining payment is required to be made to the supplier directly upon arrival, or to Guest Island X days before the Product start date, the exact timing will vary per tour. For any payments made on Guest Island.com, all such payments are made to Guest Island. (If you do not show up for the product booked, the balance due the supplier will be deducted from your account, necessary for imbursement of funds to the supplier for loss of a ticket of a potential client).

If you did not pay for the booked Product at all, or on time, or if your credit card is revoked, your claim to receive the Product is cancelled. In such an instance, it shall be regarded as a cancellation and the tour cancellation policy shall apply.

After payment, you are responsible for showing up at the specified start date and time. We recommend that you arrive at the gathering point of the excursion 10 minutes before the specified time. If you are late, contact the company representative by calling: +35724663473

In case the booker does not show up, this shall be regarded as a no-show, and full payment shall still be made to the supplier. Cancellation is not possible.

The Supplier reserves the right, without prior notification, to change excursion routes, if these changes occurred for reasons beyond the control of the Supplier.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Guest Island is not liable for the loss of personal belongings.

Observe the safety precautions – Guest Island is not liable for any possible damage to life and health.

Guest Island is not responsible for the aggravation and complications associated with chronic diseases.

All such information may not be used or distributed by any other parties, before such parties have received Guest Island's prior written consent hereto. Failure to adhere to this requirement is a criminal offence, punishable by law.

Registration

When you register an account, all information submitted through such account including, but not limited to, your full name, your profile picture, your date of birth, etc., will be stored at our side. Please note, however, that should you apply your credit card information, our side will not store such data. The credit payment gateway provider that Guest Island has chosen to process secure payments of Products and other services will store such data. Guest Island explicitly excludes any liability caused by such chosen payment gateway provider in storing your credit card information.

When creating an account you are giving Guest Island permission for online communication including allowing us to send our email newsletter or other electronic newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time from such newsletters. .

Sharing information with third parties

When you conclude a purchase of a Product or other service offered on the Booking Platform, some or all of the data you have provided to Guest Island would be transmitted to the supplier of such Product allowing such supplier to ensure a proper execution of the booked Product.

Whenever required by authorities or legal bodies, Guest Island will also pass on requested information to such legal authorities.

Guest Island hereby reserves the right to transmit such data to third parties, authorities etc.

Guest Island shall in no way be liable to you in the event that a supplier or Product is not suitable for your purpose.

While Guest Island’s terms requires that each and every supplier and their respective Products display prices on the Booking Platform which are inclusive of all value added tax and other taxes, it is ultimately the responsibility of the supplier and not Guest Island. By using this Website you therefore acknowledges that Guest Island shall have no liability to you in respect of any attempt by a supplier to levy additional value added taxes or other taxes, in addition to the already paid amount at Guest Island. The sole recourse in such regard shall thus be against the supplier and not Guest Island.

Applicable Law

This Business Terms of Use and any further legal relations shall be governed by The law of Cyprus (Greek: Κυπριακό Δίκαιο) a legal system which applies within the Republic of Cyprus. Although Cypriot law is extensively codified, it is still heavily based on English common law in the sense that the fundamental principle of precedent applies.

Guest Island and their Suppliers therefore agree to exclusively submit to the jurisdiction of the Republic of Cyprus.
