Full Description

• We commence our tour to the 1000 year old Kykkos Monastery which is located within the Paphos Forest at an elevation of around 1,300 meters. It's a prime pilgrimage destination on Cyprus and is very popular with foreign visitors especially Russians.
• Paphos Forest - Gkremmos tis Pellis - Due to the great quality road network, with little traffic, on relatively flat terrain, in the middle of Paphos Forest, this continuation of our tour provides for an excellent electric scooter experience, slowing down to enjoy great views. Golden oaks and Calabrian pines are the dominant trees here.
• Cedar Valley to Tripylos peak walk - optional - The Cedar Valley is home to approximately 130,000 endemic (only found in Cyprus) Cedar subspecies. We have the option to stop in the Cedar Valley for a break and undertake a short walk to the peak. From here one can enjoy unobstructed views over a large part of the Paphos Forest and if we are fortunate enough, will spot the Cyprus 'moufflon', the endemic wild mountain sheep of Cyprus.
• The walk is linear (about 2.5 km each way) the elevation is above 1,000m (rising to over 1,350 m). An enjoyable walk escaping the warmer temperatures of the coastal plains.
• Cedar Valley to E-scooter Trip start in Paphos Forest - Our return to the start of the e-scooter exploration route will take us further inland. (a bit more than 6km long), further along towards the north coast and providing vistas towards the south -also less traffic here. A slow ride provides enjoyment of the forest, its scents, sounds and gorgeous views.

Know before you go

• Pickup location : At an agreed location: eg. hotel, resort or landmark of a main city: such as Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca, Pissouri, Protaras, Ayia Napa.
• From Agia Napa or Protaras the trip would make sense if the duration is 8 or 10 hours, as, due to the significant distance, there is considerable time to be spent in the car.
• Minimum age of passengers: 18 years
• Modest attire is strongly advised when visiting monasteries and churches, i.e. no shorts or low-cut blouses (bring along a large scarf to put over your shoulders and light trousers)
  
• The trip leader (person booking the trip) needs to bring official identification (eg passport - we will make copies) for the use of our scooters, as well as valid credit cards (as we will arrange pre-authorization as security for the use of our scooters). The trip leader is expected to sign a relevant agreement before any of the e-scooters are used.
• We consider our e-scooters as being quite easy to use. At the same time they are two-wheeled vehicles and riders need to always be cautious
