This family-run winery can be found in the Pano Panayia region of Cyprus - an area of countryside famed for its beautiful forest, nature trails, and the dam of Kannaviou. A visit to the Ktima Vassiliades Winery is a must for anyone looking to learn more about Cypriot wine. The winery offers both group and individual tours and tastings, every day of the week. All sessions cover everything there is to know about how their wine is made, from growing and harvesting grapes to bottling. Plus, there’s an amazing restaurant and shop on-site, too.
Since 1993, the Vasilikon Winery has been producing some of the finest wines in Cyprus. The vineyards are located in the picturesque Laona Akamas Region, and the winery is now home to a museum and a large tasting room. Stop by and enjoy lunch in the laid back restaurant or take a seat on the terrace and sample some of their best wines while soaking up the views.
This traditional winery is located just north of the village of Omodos. For years, the family has been producing award-winning wines and regularly welcomes visitors to the winery for guided tours. As well as learning more about how they produce wines, you’ll have the opportunity to sample some of their favourites while enjoying beautiful views of the valley and vineyards.
The family-run Makarounas Boutique Winery is nestled in the very heart of Letymbou village in a region that has its roots in vine-growing. With a beautifully peaceful location, and a selection of tours and tastings to choose from, the winery is the ideal choice for those looking to sample local Cypriot wines in a relaxed setting.
