Taking its name from the Greek word for palm, Finigoudes is a palm-fringed beach with warm shallow waters. You’ll find the beach just a short walk from Larnaca’s main promenade and its cafes, bars and restaurants. And with changing facilities and a lifeguard on duty throughout the summer months, it’s great for families.
Kastella Beach

Kastella’s clear waters and fine grey sand have made it one of the most popular Blue Flag beaches in Larnaca. It’s tucked away next to the city’s ancient fort and is just a short walk from the main restaurants and bars.
Mackenzie Beach

This beautiful Blue Flag beach is perfect for families. Just up from the sandy shoreline, you’ll find toilets, changing facilities, and a children’s playground. Plus, it’s only a stone’s throw from some of Larnaca’s trendiest bars and restaurants.
Yiannades Beach, Oroklini

Yiannades Beach is tucked inside Larnaca Bay and has some of the warmest waters on the island. It can be reached by walking along the newly built coastal path that heads eastwards out of the city, and its shallow waters make it ideal for families with young children.
CTO Beach, Pyla

CTO can be found adjacent and east of Yiannades Beach. With sports such as beach volleyball, as well as toilets and shower facilities, the beach is extremely popular throughout the summer months.
Cessac Beach, Dhekelia

Cessac is famed for its small waves, children’s playground, and amazing fish and chip restaurant. It’s stonier than most of the other beaches in Larnaca, so we recommend wearing sea shoes if you’re going for a swim.
Faros Beach, Pervolia

This beautiful beach stretches along Cape Kiti, south of Pervolia. It can be reached by following a newly built coastal path, and is home to a range of watersports facilities, a volleyball pitch, and a small beach cafe.
Spyros Beach (Kasianes Beach)

Spyros can be found near the village of Meneou, just west of Larnaca Airport. It’s off the beaten track, so has little to no facilities. However, this makes it popular with locals looking to escape the heat at the height of summer.
Meneou Dog Beach

This small beach is located next to Larnaca Airport and is popular with dog walkers all year round. It has long stretches of grey sand and a few rocky outlets.
Softades Beach (Kite Beach Mazotos)

This wide pebbly beach is located on the coast of Mazotos, just west of Kiti Village. It’s home to Larnaca’s kite surfing clubs. And with plenty of activities, and lots of bars and restaurants nearby, it’s popular with families, friends, and locals.
